Item 8.01.              Other Events.

On February 23, 2011, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Reddy Ice Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) established the date of the Company’s 2011 annual meeting of stockholders and set the record date for stockholders eligible to vote at the annual meeting.

The Company’s 2011 annual meeting of stockholders will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2011.  The Board has fixed the close of business on April 1, 2011 as the record date for the determination of stockholders entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the annual meeting and any postponement or adjournment thereof.
