On February 14, 2011, KapStone Paper and Packaging Corporation (“KapStone”) issued a press release reporting earnings for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2010.

On February 15, 2011, the management of KapStone will participate in a conference call discussing KapStone’s earnings for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2010. A copy of the presentation materials used in the call is furnished as Exhibit 99.2 of this report.
Also, on February 17, 2011, Matthew Kaplan, President, and Andrea Tarbox, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Kapstone Paper and Packaging Corporation, will give a Company presentation at the Deutsche Bank 2011 Small and Mid Cap Conference in Naples, FL. A copy of the presentation materials to be used by Mr. Kaplan and Ms. Tarbox is furnished as Exhibit 99.3 of this report.
