Item 2.02     Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
 
On February 3, 2011, Black Hills Corporation ("the Company") issued a press release announcing 2010 financial results. Income from continuing operations and net income for the fourth quarter of 2010 of $33.5 million, or $0.85 per share, compared to $32.4 million, or $0.84 per share, and net income of $32.8 million, or $0.85 per share, for the same period in 2009. Income from continuing operations and net income for the year ended December 31, 2010 was $68.7 million, or $1.76 per share, compared to income from continuing operations of $78.8 million, or $2.04 and net income of $81.6 million, or $2.11 per share for the same period in 2009.
 
The press release is attached as Exhibit 99 to this Form 8-K.
