On January 25, 2011 we made this announcement on our website: LLLI is pleased to introduce the latest 40MM Less Lethal technology - THE OCTOPUS. This 40mm projectile uses our patented, tried and true WASP material - which has many years of research behind the product, and has the distinction of causing ZERO DEATHS associated with our ammunition. THE OCTOPUS has 70 grams of weight behind it and spreads its energy out over a 4 inch striking surface. It travels at 380 FT. / Second, and has a range of 75 FT. Everything in this round is produced in our facility - except for the powder; this provides total control over the quality of the product.
