On January 20, 2011, Wisconsin Energy Corporation's Board of Directors approved a two-for-one stock split of its common stock, which will be effected through a stock dividend. Stockholders of record at the close of business on February 14, 2011, will be entitled to one additional share of Wisconsin Energy common stock for each share then owned. The additional shares will be distributed beginning on March 1, 2011.

The Board also declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.52 a share on a pre-split basis, payable on March 1, 2011, to stockholders of record on February 14, 2011.
