(b) On January 19, 2011, Wayne L’Heureux, a “named executive officer” of Ulta Salon, Cosmetics &
Fragrance, Inc. (“Ulta” or the “Company”), left
his position as Senior Vice
President — Human Resources effective immediately.
Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
The Company anticipates that the financial statement impact associated with payments to Wayne
L’Heureux in connection with his departure as Senior Vice President — Human Resources will be
immaterial.
