On January 17, 2011, State Auto Financial Corporation (“State Auto Financial”) announced the retirement of its Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Mark A. Blackburn. Mr. Blackburn resigned from all of his officer positions with State Auto Financial and as a director and officer from all other State Auto Companies (as defined below) on January 14, 2011, and he will serve in an advisory role until his November 2011 retirement.
“State Auto Companies” refers to State Auto Financial, State Automobile Mutual Insurance Company and each of their respective subsidiaries and affiliates.
