Item 8.01 Other Events
Effective January 15, 2011, Strategic American Oil Corporation (the "Company") received and accepted a resignation letter from Randall Reneau regarding his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Reneau will continue to serve as a director of the Company. In the interim, the Company's President and CEO, Jeremy Driver, will serve as Chairman of the Board.
