Item 8.01 Other Events.
On January 11, 2011, the Board of Directors of Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. (the "Company") declared a quarterly cash dividend on the Company’s common shares of $0.14 per share. The cash dividend will be payable on March 1, 2011, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on February 15, 2011.
