Section 8 — Other Events

Item 8.01  Other Events.

On December 20, 2010, Edison Mission Energy (“EME”) announced that its Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, John P. Finneran, Jr., will retire from EME effective January 31, 2011.

On December 20, 2010, EME also announced that Maria Rigatti had been appointed Chief Financial Officer of EME, effective immediately. Ms. Rigatti joined EME in 1999 and has served in several leadership roles in commercial management and finance for EME. Since 2008, Ms. Rigatti has served as Vice President and Treasurer of EME and she will continue in those roles.
