ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS.
On December 22, 2010, The Bank of Kentucky Financial Corporation issued a press release (the “Press Release”) announcing that it has repurchased $17 million of the outstanding $34 million of its Fixed Rate Cumulative Perpetual Preferred Stock, Series A, issued in February 2009 to the U.S. Department of the Treasury pursuant to the Troubled Asset Relief Program Capital Purchase Program. A copy of the Press Release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Report and is incorporated into this Report by reference.
