On December 17, 2010, Russell H. Ellison, M.D., M.Sc. resigned from the Board of Directors of CorMedix Inc. and from his position as Chairman of the Board in order to dedicate his full time and efforts to serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Ventrus BioSciences Inc., which commenced trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market on December 17, 2010 in connection with its initial public offering of its common stock.
