CHINA DIRECT INDUSTRIES RESCHEDULES EARNINGS RELEASE AND CONFERENCE CALL TO DISCUSS FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2010

SEES FISCAL 2010 REVENUE OF $112.7 WITH A NET LOSS OF $3.2 TO $3.6 MILLION

Deerfield Beach, FL – December 17, 2010 - China Direct Industries, Inc. (the “Company”) (NASDAQ:CDII), a U.S. owned holding company operating in China in two core business segments, pure magnesium production and distribution of basic materials, announced today that it has rescheduled its conference call to discuss its financial results for the full year of fiscal 2010 ended September 30, 2010 to Wednesday, December 22, 2010.

The Company’s earnings release is being rescheduled to allow for additional time to complete the audit of the 9 primary subsidiaries in the U.S. and China that are included in its audited consolidated financial statements.  Management anticipates the Company will report revenue of approximately $112.7 million for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2010 with a net loss of $3.2 to $3.6 million inclusive of a total of approximately $3.1 million in non-cash items.
