Regulation FD Disclosure.

On December 7-9, 2010, Robert Rowe, president and chief executive officer; Brian Bird, vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer; David Gates, vice president - wholesale operations; Emilie Ng, assistant treasurer; and Daniel Rausch, director - investor relations, of NorthWestern Corporation d/b/a NorthWestern Energy (NYSE: NWE) (the “Company”), will be in New York, presenting certain information concerning the Company in meetings with analysts and investors. As part of those meetings, the Company is hosting an analyst presentation in New York on Thursday, December 9, 2010, at 9:40 a.m. Eastern Time. The presentation will be webcast live on the Internet at http://www.northwesternenergy.com under the “Investor Information” heading.
