On June 30, 2010, Martin H. Nesbitt resigned from the Board of Trustees of Pebblebrook Hotel
Trust (the “Company”), effective July 1, 2010. Mr. Nesbitt’s letter of resignation is attached
hereto as Exhibit 99.1. Mr. Nesbitt’s current term would have expired in May of 2011.
