Item 8.01 Other Events.
On May 3, 2010, William P. Forbes, PharmD, of Salix Pharmaceuticals, Ltd., conducted a meeting at the Digestive Disease Week 2010 conference, beginning at 9:00 p.m. Central Time. A webcast of the meeting is posted on the Company’s website at www.Salix.com. The slides included in Dr. Forbes’ presentation are attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and are incorporated herein in their entirety by reference.
