Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On April 29, 2010, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (the “Bank”) sent a letter to its members to report selected preliminary unaudited financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2010. The text of the member letter is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
