Other Events

On April 12, 2010, China Power Equipment, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release regarding the presentation made by Mr. Yongxing Song, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company at an investment conference hosted by Roth Capital Partners, LLC, in Beijing, China on April 10, 2010.  A copy of the press release is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
