The First American Corporation (the “Company”) announced today that Anand K. Nallathambi has been appointed as president and chief operating officer of the Company’s information solutions group, effective immediately. Mr. Nallathambi’s appointment follows the departure of Frank V. McMahon on November 30, 2009. A copy of the press release announcing the appointment is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
