Directors (the “Board”) of Anthracite Capital, Inc. (the “Company”) elected
Kathleen M. Hagerty to the Board. Ms. Hagerty has not been named to any
committee of the Board at this time. Ms. Hagerty has no material interest in any
transaction or proposed transaction to which the Company was or is to be a
party.
